Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
SAAI Services respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018.
1. Data controller
2. Data we collect
- Contact form: name, phone, email, area and type of request, message (including the summary of a diagnosis or estimate if you choose to send it).
- Calls, emails and messages: the information you give us about your request or job.
- Technical data: like any website, the hosting server records technical logs (IP address, date, page visited, browser) to keep the site secure and working. To limit spam, an encrypted (non-reversible) fingerprint of your IP address is kept for 24 hours when you submit the form.
The quick diagnosis and the calculator run only in your browser: no data is sent unless you submit the form. This website uses no analytics, no advertising and no social media buttons.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- Answering your request and preparing a quote — pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Carrying out the work, follow-up and invoicing — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Protecting the website against spam and abuse — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. How long we keep it
- Requests that do not lead to work: up to 3 years after the last contact.
- Customers: for the duration of the relationship, then for the statutory retention periods for accounting and tax records.
- Anti-spam fingerprint: 24 hours. Technical logs: a limited period set by the hosting provider.
5. Who can access your data
Only the SAAI Services team has access to your data. It may be processed by our technical processors (website host, email provider) solely to provide their services and in compliance with the GDPR. Your data is never sold or passed on for marketing purposes.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights
You may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, object to processing or request data portability. Write to info@saai-services.com; we reply within one month. We may ask for proof of identity if in doubt.
7. Complaints
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data: enforced encrypted connection (HTTPS), security headers, access limited to those who need it, spam protection on the form.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
